The textile is meticulously handwoven on a traditional Guatemalan backstrap loom and paired with premium vegetable-tanned leather. Finished with fine leather lace detailing along the border, this belt naturally adjusts to fit all waist sizes, improving with wear over time.

Behind the Name:
The Tecun Belt is inspired by Tecun, the last ruler of the K’iche’ Maya people and a Guatemalan national hero. Known for his bravery, Tecun entered battles adorned with precious quetzal feathers and accompanied by Nahuati, his quetzal bird spirit guide, symbolising courage and cultural pride.
